Welcome To Poche Plantation Cajun Country B&B
Located less than an hour from New Orleans and Baton Rouge LA between Gonzales and LaPlace Louisiana, in the middle of the historic plantation and cajun country. Poche Plantation Bed and Breakfast and RV Park is a historic site defined by over 1600’ of white picket fence with 13 large capped columns fronting scenic river road which follows along the banks of the Mississippi River. This B&B and Camping RV Park and Resort is in the heart of Louisiana's Plantation and Cajun Country and close to the action in New Orleans and Baton Rouge LA.

Guest are found relaxing on the front porch swings, surrounded by double Victorian columns, soaking in the cool breezes offered by the great Mississippi River, cooling off in our New Orleans French quarter style pool or enjoying the variety of offerings in our recreation room. Poche Plantation Bed and Breakfast and Camping RV Park is surrounded by great Cajun restaurants and many attractions. Close to New Orleans and Baton Rouge LA between Gonzales and Laplace in Cajun and Plantation country.

We are close to Baton Rouge, New Orleans, LaPlace and Gonzales La in the heart of Louisiana Plantation and Cajun Country and make a great stop off point for travelers to and from these locations. Civil War buffs. will enjoy the stories of Judge Felix Poche during and after the Civil War. Stir and Dine Wednesdays
Every Wednesday night is Cajun Jambalaya Night... where guest both local and afar inspire each other with dishes of their own choosing. Held in the Columb Recreation Hall from 6-8pm every Wednesday with a different theme every week.




Annual Grave Yard Tours

Annual Grave Yard Tours every fall where guest can experience not just the historic buildings but dozens of actors who act out the lives of historic figures buried within the historic above ground graves. The Mansion at Felix Poche will be on tour and decorated in Mourning with actors and actress depicting the lives and actions of prominent residents who built and developed this area... Food is cooked up days prior in the Reception Hall

Annual Bonfire Festival
The Annual Bonfire experience takes along the Mississippi River every year to guide Saint Nick on Christmas Eve... Over 120 structures are set ablaze simoutanisly along the peaks of the levees overlooking the great Mississippi river. Festival/Food/Music for the entire family weeks prior to the event...
