Poche Plantation is a Bed and Breakfast located at 6554 Louisiana Highway 44 in the community of Convent, Louisiana.

An original two-room pre-Civil War era cottage, circa 1840, is also located on the almost 8 acres of landscaped grounds, along with four new and separate structures that were added in 1998-2000. These new structures include 2 duplex cottages, conference building, and pool with whirlpool surrounded by ironwork and columns.

The exterior walls are constructed of 150 year-old cypress in excellent shape. The window styles include casement, double hung, and single hung walkthrough.  The interior of the home features plaster on lath, sheetrock, and wood siding walls covered with hand-painted Gracie wallpaper, mirrors, paint, and wallpaper.

Trimwork original to the house includes wainscoting, 7 fireplaces with original marble, cypress, and cast iron mantles, formal stairway with hardwood balustrade, glass transoms, plantation shutters, and upholstered cornices. Floor coverings consist of antique heart pine, and the door styles include French and paneled wood.
